The concept was simple but brilliant: place a GPS device in a briefcase and mail it via DHL with precise travel instructions over the course of a 55 day period. When all was said and done, the GPS data formed a virtual self-portrait of the artist that spread over 6 continents and 62 countries covering nearly 70,000 miles...

I love this project, though I'm dubious about the loop d loops. maybe i'm taking it too literally, but i have to imagine the actual resulting drawing isn't as charming. i dig yer blog. i was exploring vox since I recently started my blog and wanted to connect up with other artists and found yer site. so i'll add you to the "neighborhood". and feel free to add me if you like. i saw you had ted berrigan video on your site. nice. ted's son ed and i were roommates in s.f. for awhile. small world, i guess. not like ted is all that well known.
